Administration Assistant – Brandling Primary School



Required for 5 March 2018, Permanent Contract

The Governors of Brandling Primary School are seeking to appoint an administration assistant to work alongside the Head teacher, School Business Manager and all school staff.

The successful applicant will have:-

Knowledge and experience of SIMS - in particular pupil data

A commitment to team working.

Good IT skills.

Excellent organisational skills.

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.

You will also need to be flexible, friendly, have a good sense of humour and have the ability to work as part of a team or alone.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 GCSE or GCE 'O' Levels (minimum A-C or equivalent) including English and Maths or GNVQ Intermediate in Business or NVQ 3 in Business admin (or equivalent).

You will be expected to be able to manage your own workload and respond to the many interruptions of a busy school office. You need to be committed and motivated in your work. It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to converse at ease with people and provide advice in accurate spoken English.  Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

The Governing Body are looking to appoint a supervisory assistant to join our lunchtime team. We are looking for someone who is: friendly, proactive and has experience of working with children. You will have a friendly outgoing personality, be able to manage behaviour positively and be prepared to be an integral part of your team. Your role will involve the supervision of children in the dining room and outside, whilst ensuring the safety of our children.
